KDE Session Management and Autostarting
First time I added an application to “~/home/.kde/Autostart” it comes up with another (+1) instance every relogin to X session. This was because of the settings in ksession manager.
Go to “Start > System Settings > Advanced >Session Manager”. There are two options how to fix this issue.
- On Login:
enable “Restore manually saved session” - Advanced:
enter a comma separated list of executables to be excluded from session management
This settings force the applications added to “~/home/.kde/Autostart” to startup with only one instance every logon to X session.
