5. Postinstallation steps

Now we are nearly at the end of the Installation.

  • Check the frontend view

    Type in your browser. URL: ‘http://yourdomain’

    check_01_frontend
    That’s ok, because there isn’t any content in the system yet.

  • Check the backend

    Go to URL: ‘http://yourdomain/typo3/index.php’
    User: admin
    Password: password

    check_02_backend_login

    check_03_backend_admin_panel

    Don’t forget to change the TYPO3 default admin password on the admin account!!!

That’s it! Enjoy your TYPO3 installation!!!
