3. TYPO3 Install Tool

The TYPO3 install the necessary database and configures your installation.

  • Create a database

    Go to your Plesk admin panel and create a new empty mysql database and mysql user with password. Write down this information we need them during installation.

  • Start TYPO3 Install Tool

    Open your browser and type in the URL of ‘http://your_domain/’. Type in your database credentials (mysqluser/password). Don’t change the hostname.
    123_02_db_credentials

  • Select existing database

    Now select the database you created before.
    123_03_select_db

  • Create default database tables

    The default database tables will now being installed.
    123_04_create_default_tables

  • Finish Installation

    123_05_done

    You’re done with the installation. Continue with the configuration.
